The project was proposed for the Mariposa neighborhood, just south of the Auraria campus off of Colfax avenue. Based on the team’s user research, one of our primary focuses for the identity branding of each space was to included both Spanish and English translations of all content. Each team member was tasked with creating our own variation of branding after we collaborated on naming the sharing unit. For my wordmarks, I chose to use a custom hand written typeface which appears welcoming to users and organic in an urban environment.
The unit was designed by Vlad Keeper, an MSU Denver industrial design student. The unit would be solar powered therefore my designs had to work around three large panels on the roof of the unit. My proposed branding system consisted of aluminum slats, aluminum plate with printed logo, and vinyl tomato graphic.

I proposed the production of a large tomato sign to use as the units’ primary branding. The sign would be mounted on either side of the unit to include both english and spanish variations. In my mockup, I included aluminum slats that could be used by community members to post signage on events or important notices. The slats would also enclose the space to create a warmer enviroment, less exposed to harsh Colorado weather.

Last, I generated a UI system for a moblie application to be used in support of the community produce sharing unit. Through the mobile app, users would be able to share recipes and community events as well as live updates of deliervies to units.
