As a group project, design students were tasked with building a company based inspired by evolving technologies. My teammates, Kenyatta Cole and Chandler Dolan, and I started the project by drafting a mission statement for our proposed bio-printing laboratory corporation,“Biobond redefines the future of inclusive medical care via affordable, expedited bio-printed kidneys.” As the project progressed, the team was able to refer back to our mission statement to verify any decisions we made were honoring our determined vision, core values and objectives.
After sketching pictorial marks, emblems and letterforms the team generated an abstract mark which the team felt aligned with our core values. The mark illustrates the cellular replication process of mitosis, specifically the anaphase stage. 
Biobond-printed kidneys are transported solely via courier services in Biobond coolers. The brand mark is clear and identifiable on each package in order to increase brand awareness during transit. The welcoming Biobond blue is used as an accent in an over the shoulder strap. The negative space created by the external planes of the cooler contrasts with the bold biobond signature mark nested in the lower right corner of the courier cooler.

Each biobond-printed kidney is safely housed in the branded cooler from the time it leaves the Biobond laboratory up until operating day. The coolers presence in medical offices will increase patient awareness of our accessible technology.
