The project consisted of the creation of a 12-part Collectible Interactive Learning Kit. Depending on demand, there may be future opportunities to pursue a second edition of kits. For now, I designed a system and visual identity for the interactive kits. My goal is to inspire users to educate themselves further on women’s history. The kits will begin a dive into multiple themes within women’s history then provide resources for users to further pursue their education. Activities will prompt creation while users learn of women’s innovations and impacts throughout history.
International audience consideration was crucial during my research and development. Global stories of women creating, exploring, inventing and making history are shared in accessible ways for audiences of wide participation capabilities. Caution was used to not create a western mindset centered product. Women from across wide spans of time are observed in order to produce an informative experience intended to educate users on the History of Women on a macro level.
